    New handguns on DOJ list

I was wondering what does a company have to go through to get their hand gun on the DOJ list. Also is it a long and expensive process for the company that may not justify the expense. I know that the weapon must have certain features to be included on the list but what is the process for testing and approving the gun.

    1. Loaded chamber indicator - some are prone to jam the gun.
    2. Magazine safety release /or whatever is called when the magazine is removed and the trigger locks/- if by mistake you drop your mag, the gun is useless
    3. Micro stamping- impossible for commercial production

    Good luck...

-If communism doesn't work, why do so many people support it?
    -Because they don't work either.

I bought a SIG P238 a few months ago. It's the CA model, which differs from ordinary P238s by having the LCI and mag safety. But, so far as I can see, it has no micro stamping. How did it escape that blemish given that it had the other two CA-required blemishes?

On the forsaken roster prior to the requirement. They have not let it lapse and paid the extortion fees to the prk. Vote with your feet and walk, there are no such things in Az
Actually no such crap really anywhere except nj and ny.

Thanks for the explanation. I'm just thankful that my SIG X5 Competition escaped all of the CA-required blemishes.
