Best value 9mm ammo for shooting competitions

Any recommendations for buying 9mm in bulk for shooting indoor competitions. I've been shooting WWB and was hoping to eliminate one variable. I'm really not ready to start re-loading at this point.

If you're talking about standard IDPA type targets where we don't care too much about getting 1 inch groups at 25 yards, can't go wrong with Freedom Munitions.

      Thanks for the recommendation!

Any specifics to pay attention to?

Is it better to shoot a lighter or heavier grain bullet? Fmj vs HP?

Freedom Munitions now have a line called "SuperMatch", looks like they use 124 HP bullets.

I have used their 124 hp reman and think they are more accurate than factory 115 loads, check em out and report back.

I haven't yet shot their super match rounds, but their XTP reloads are noticeably more accurate than their round nose reloads. FWIW.

            Thanks guy's!

Will try some of both just to see how it shoots.

            Appreciate the feedback.

Been using Super Match in my steel comp. It is very good ammo better than the FM 9mm 124 gr new I was using.

If you are going to get serious about competitions, you may want to reconsider reloading.

I prefer the black hills match ammo. Not cheap but its darn good stuff.

I've been really happy with IMI 9mm - it's not quite match grade, but it's on par with some of the top shelf ammo. It's very affordable, too - I generally get 1000 round cases for $250, and sometimes you can find it on sale.

                          I prefer 147g myself.

This looks like a decent option at about 132 power factor. They have it new for a little more $. Note: I have not used there stuff but have friends that do.

This stuff is at 128pf but a bit more.
