Smith 37 "no dash"

I know they're a bit harder to find in CA than the rest of the country. I see the nickel version "asking price" on GB anywhere from about $500.00 to "wishful thinking" ....

For a 2", nickel, round butt factory grips, 37 "no dash" in 95% - does about $525.00 in CA seem OK?

Except for the odd Frankengun it's been quite awhile since I've seen ANY pre MIM S&W revolver in decent shape for less than $500, especially snubbies.

Given good mechanical & cosmetic condition I would probably be a buyer at $525. IIRC it should have an N stamped on the frame under the left butt stock & on the back of the cylinder if it's aa factory nickel finish, which is more desirable.

Supposedly a factory refinish in nickel would have R-N inside a rectangle.

I'm going from memory, the SCSW and the SW Forum on all this so it's possible I'm blowing smoke.
