I think its the best Wheel gun Smith builds. The TRR8 was my preference over the R8 because I wanted both rails (top and bottom) removable. The R8 has a fixed rail on the bottom. Not a big deal I guess.
TRR8 "A" models are on the roster, however they seem in short supply. There is no different except the "A" mark on the underside of the top strap. No worries, these can be SAE (single action exemption) quite easily.
This wheel gun is QUALITY and will last a lifetime. N frames Rock and I personally love the 8 round capacity, which is excellent for hunting, plinking or self defense combat situations. I just started reloading .38 and .357 Magnum.
I like the versatility of .357 Magnum. Lots of options on bullet weight and design. Not expensive either.
Get a 2 capacity moonclip rig, some extra moonclips (be careful, some moon clips are ammo specific, for instance Starline brass) and you're good to go.
In a weak moment (haha) I bought some very nice Jerry M wood grips. Wow, they feel nice.
The weapon comes with 3 moonclips already.
This is one Sweet handgun.
