Your DROS will most likely be rejected if the receiver was sold as NEW and you are not exempt from the roster.

The fate of the wounded rest in the hands of the ones who apply the first dressing.

Dros will be rejected if I'm exempt from roster? I put "(exempt)" after roster exemptions above ∆∆.

You mean you are LE or some other exempt person? In that case I am not sure how that works. From my understanding of the SSE days you couldn't just put "pistol" on a lower you had to actually build it as one. But I have no idea how that applies to LE.

Are you exempt from the roster?

                LEO?

If so, it will NOT be rejected and be completed as usual as long as the FFL placed the roster exemption code on the DES (DROS entry system).

Just picked the lower up, reviewed paperwork and exemption code is there.

The question is: Are you roster EXEMPT?

It doesn't matter if the paperwork says the exemption code is there.

If you are roster exempt, you can build it any way you want to as long as you do not violate CA AW or Federal NFA laws.

                          Then you are fine.

                          Build as pistol.
