I have a 229 stainless with the rose wood grips, keeping that one the way it is which I love. I have a Cali version 229 elite that I installed extreme grips on that also looks good!

Used to have a P226 SS in 40SW.
Couldn't ever bring myself to shooting it as it looked so nice.
Eventually sold it as I didn't have a need for a Boat Anchor.

Nice! One of my P229s (nitron finish) has Rosewoodgrips and looks good too. Sigs are my Barbie dolls.

These are all stainless and great in taming the beast (recoil), my other Sigs that have alloy frames are significantly lighter.

This is my first stainless and cost me a lot (shipping, tax, transfer fee, etc.)to get it shipped to my FFL. YOu know the saying "love at first sight".

I know the feeling, the P220 was so shiny and fiery red that almost didn't want to shoot it.

all of my Sigs are w german and wear original OEM black plastic checkered grips. i do have the very hard to come by obsolete original OEM (optional) Sile wood grips for several of my Sigs.

We (my wife and I) only started buying handguns in December 2013 and finding out unanimous positive feedback regarding all German made after I emptied the bank chasing non-rail and SSE last year, we have no money left to buy all German when opportunity came knocking at our door.
