627's are nice for ICORE however I found that I shot worse this year with mine than I did the year before with my 6.5" tubed 610. It's a great gun and you can get some really good work done to the trigger. The best moon clips to use are Hearthco's. It is the predominent revo at that game. You could also use it for USPSA production if you so desired.. A fun gun to shoot.

I have a 627-5. Best revolver I have ever shot. Well balanced, just a little front heavy. But I like that, seems to help accuracy. I had to remove the wood grip and replace it with the Hogue one. My big hands could not get a good grip otherwise.

The trigger pull in SA is nice, pretty light and crisp. The gold bead front sight is simply awesome. It will reflect any available light and give you good aim. Really stands out in more subdued light settings.

You will not be disappointed with this firearm. Best money I ever dropped on a gun.
