    Subcompact Question?

Can anyone recommend a 1911-style SUBCOMPACT (the smaller the better)....... 9mm for carry?

I currently carry a Sig P238 .380 and kick myself in the a** for not SSE the
Sig P938 9mm when I had the chance!

I have a XD Subcompact .40 & .357 S&W but have come to feel the most comfortable with a 1911 cocked & locked!

So......... Am I relegated to the "Kimber Line" or something else out there I don't know about?

And lastly....... Something "Legal" for purchase in this great State of California?

    Thanks!

        +1 on the Springfield EMP.

It was designed from the start to be a subcompact 9mm so it should be more reliable (in theory) compared to a traditional 1911 that was shrunken down and changed to another caliber.
