Glock Model 22, ejects into my forhead

I have been away from shooting for a number of years for a large number of reasons. I was recently out shooting w/ my wife and re-discovered that my Glock spits the shells up and nearly straight back most of the time. I had forgotten about it, mentioned to my dad who reminded me that it has always done that. I'm the original purchaser of this pistol back in 1992 I believe (gotta check my paperwork to be certain).

So, anybody have a suggestion for a fix?

my glocks do the same thing. It's happened probablly 3 to 4 times that it shot back to my forehead and made me bleed a little bit.

my glock 17 did that the first time out i tool a little file and put about a 75deg angle on the the ejector no more forehead bops

+1, Glocks are funny that way, they teach you to have a better grip on the gun or else it'll tell you what you're doing wrong.

Also, since it's an older model, there may some parts that needs replacing or updated. Add a new extractor.

Had the same problem. Sent back under warranty. Work order said they replaced an out-of-spec extractor. Problem fixed.
