Looking for info on this ammo

Without boring you on family history, last week I cleaned out my uncle's house (he passed away a few years ago). He lived in the same house for 61 years and as would be expected some interesting things were found...which comes to the photo below. Anyone have any idea when this ammo was produced? There are 2,250 rounds of each 22lr boxed as you see in the example below. Other then some sales mumbo-jumbo stated on each box, there is nothing specific written (i.e. velocity or year of manufacture).

Any reason not to put a few rounds in a 10/22 (least expensive 22lr firearm I own in case something goes wrong). Or do I have something of value (i.e. packaging) and don't know it?

And FWIW, curious why 'staynless' is spelled as it is.

"Staynless", "Kopperklad"...

Sounds like these were made before the advent of spell-check, haha.

I think Staynless was Winchester's trademark for non-corrosive priming.

Do a google search. It looks valuable. On ebay a empty box was $10 and another site had $65 for a box of 50 .22 like yours.

So......in other words they're asking the same price that all the sellers are asking for .22 here on Calguns for modern new ammo.

I think the misspelled words are a trademark thing. As far as shooting, should be fine if stored decent. Might wait for someone to chime in on the oxidation on the lead.
It may well be worth more to collectors though than to shoot it.
