    Springfield Armory Customer Service A+

I waited until the initial rush on returning my XDs .45 for the recall work. Got the label emailed to me on 3/30, shipped it off to them on 3/31. Received it today via FedEx. Impressive.

They did warranty work on my TRP. I was very impressed and pleased with their attentiveness, efficiency and all-around professionalism. A+ indeed.

Completely agree. Had an extractor issue with my XDM and it was returned to me less than 10 days after I shipped it out. Not a single issue since.

Having recently picked up a second SA 1911, this is good to hear.

            Mehhh.

I would be amazed if we can find 6 valid complaints about their service in any calender year.

I own one springfield armory ldd operator and in the process of paying off a trp operator so it's good to hear such good service with the warranty dept.

They handled the recall on my XDs9 very well. Nothing bad to say about their CS.

Wow you guys are lucky. My range officer ftfs fiochii ammo all the time. Called SA and they pretty much told me not to use that brand and that they couldn't f do anything about it.

All my other pistols had no issues with the same ammunition.

Knowing that all have had good experiences with them has made me even more happy that I chose the SS 1911 loaded target 9mm. 200+ rounds and other than a few stovepipes from some low velocity rounds I loaded, the break in is moving along just fine.

In American Sniper, Chris Kyle describes why and how he carried a Springfield TRP Operator during his first tour. During combat, his TRP took a frag. Kyle sent it back to Springfield. They repaired it and sent it back to him. While my 1911 has never taken a frag, Springfield addressed the issue my 1911 was having. In fact, while the technician was working on it, he went above and beyond and did some fine tuning at no charge. Outstanding work all around !

Springfield has the best customer service in the business.

Wilson Combat is good but it takes forever to get a hold of them for me, their turn around time is also not as good (yes I know they are probably stacked with work).

I haven't had to spend a single dime on warranty work for Springfield.

I just got the warranty invoice for my loaded. I sent it in for some finish blemishes and a few things that didn't feel quite right. I expressed interest in upgrading to armory kote finish and asked that someone contact me to tell me the additional cost. When I saw the invoice, I noticed that they not only went through the whole gun and replaced several parts, but refinished it in armory kote at no charge. This is on a model that isn't even available in that finish. While I won't have it back in my hands until Friday, that's impressive service to say the least.
