    Ruger Mark III stainless

I am looking for a previously owned Ruger Mark III .22 target pistol. Any help would be appreciated.

You might want to post a WTB in the marketplace forum.

Dang! If I could get 1200 for my Mark II Standard Stainless, I'd be mighty tempted.

I sold my stainless mkiii target last year for $500

          I regret that decision.

Sorry... that might be a really great deal.

Another point of view. Personally, I'd take a used mint S&W Model 41, plus $400 of CCI SV for about the same money. OTOH... I've never owned a stainless hunter. Same league?

I think $1000+ for Ruger Mk III, hunter or not, is nuts. If you really want it, pay it, but there are enough of .22 LR guns on exempt roster to get a very good deal for an accurate .22 LR handgun. I have seen plenty of S&W m41 sell for less then $1000 on Gunbroker, Cabela's and other sites.

here is a list of most of .22 LR handguns on Olympic exempt roster:

                  Actually,
new hunter is 699. Add tax 69.00, dros 25.00 and now its 800+ new. The calgunner i got mine from, paid the 800 + for a new hunter. So yes 1200 is alot, but then again 800 otd is alot for a new one anyways...

yeah i paid alot in trade, but worth it.

                  A few mods later.

It does this at 25 yards, outdoor range. with crappy gb bullets.

Funny.... I have two of the stainless MkII's government models with long barrel. Paid about $400 each new. When the MkIII's came out, I bought another used MkII because they were not making them anymore (about $400).

I wish the rest of my investments had done this well....

That's not including the gas and toll finding one and DROSing. Then you have to come back to pick it up. So when you go to your next Steel Match and you see someone kicking butts with his Ruger MKIII... You wish you can find one.
