    Trigger over travel for 1911

    Trigger over travel,
Often a trigger will have a screw on the trigger to adjust over travel.

At one time Brownells had a trigger with a hump that one filed down
to adjust the trigger over travel, but their catalog doesn't list it anymore

Does any one know were I might obtain one?
    Thank You

10-8's flat trigger has that. Don't think they sell a curved version anymore.

I've seen the flat triggers. What is the value of a flat trigger? I've never shot with one and it seems strange to me.

I have a few 10-8's and none of the over travel stop needed filing. Wish it did or I really have horrible 1911's. So the expectations to file it down to fit, YMMV.

Just loctite one with a screw, never had one go loose if that is the concern.
Tig weld then file down is the old school method and longer process. Opens up more trigger options though.

Flat trigger will give you a consistent pull regardless where you finger is on the trigger face. There is no curve so it feels a little different (less curve hug, best I can describe it) around your finger as well. It's really a love it or hate it thing.

I only like the flat trigger design on the slider trigger styles. I prefer curved triggers on the pivoting style (basically every non 1911 pistol).
