First Handgun

Hello guys.
I'm trying to decide which handgun to buy right now...
I can't say for sure, but I'm currently 99% positive that this will end up being my only handgun purchase.

Being a Cali resident I want to buy something that's:
1. 10 round or less max capacity.
2. Less than $700

So far, the candidates are:
1. SA 1911
2. Ruger 357 mag
3. Glock 26 [edited]

Could you guys please give me some inputs as to which you would choose?

Ruger GP-100.
Fits both criteria.
Reliable, sturdy and will outlast even with shooting hot loads on a regular basis.

Glock 43 is not very likely, especially for that price. It was released after the end of SSE (as we know it), and the supply of them in California will be very, very, very small (unless if you are exempt from the Roster).

If exempt, don't expect Blue Label pricing for a while.

Look at a springfield semi auto . Sa and a great pistol for the money. You can get into one for less than $600 otd. Love my XD 45acp. Always my go to gun at the range or in the desert. Never fails.

Ruger is solid and easy to deal with.

If it will be your only handgun, then 4" Ruger GP-100, it will be more versatile then your other options. I would look for used one in like new condition.

+1 on the gp100 as a great first and only gun. Doubt that you will only buy one. I bought my first handgun in January and I am on my 4th now, thinking about my 5th
