Need some verification on importing!

Hello all,

So I have a couple simple questions regarding importing 2 of my guns into California. Currently from what I've been told I'm able to pretty much import any off roster handgun into CA, which the exception of a few.

I currently live in Alaska, I'll be moving back to California this august. I have a glock 23 Gen 4, and a recently purchased Desert Eagle .50 AE. These are okay to import into California, correct? I'll just have to register them within 60 days?

Be sure to purchase any other off roster guns you want before moving here. What part of California are you moving to?

Leave all of your magazines in Alaska. Or if you must bring them, be sure to get them permenantly blocked.

www.magazineblocks.com makes good blocks. Order them and block the magazines yourself. California law limits the magazines to 10 rounds maximum.

Oh yeah, I just bought the DE for that very reason; always wanted one. Can't think of any other off roster guns at the moment that I want.

I'll be moving back home! central valley, Modesto. Been up here in AK for almost 3 years so I'm very eager.
