There should be - I have an older X400; yours might be different, but mine had two different inserts for the bar that engages the rail. I believe you want the one that does not come installed in the light by default. The default one is the "universal" piece, and it made the laser impossible to zero on my railed 1911.Comment

I just recently bought one and I absolutely love it. Thinking of adding a magwell to mine. The bottom corner of the MSH really digs into my palm (I have huge hands). I'm thinking a S&A one-piece MSH/magwell will help with that and eliminate the Springfield ILS at the same time.

Congrats OP - i just picked up an MC operator not too long ago as well.
As some have said, make sure you are using the 1913 mount that came in the surefire box, swap out the universal mount, use some of the provided loctite and you should be good to go!Comment
