45 ACP in my SW 625 five incher. Shooting Bear creek lead 200 gr RN...
CANNOT get a lead that burns all the powder up. Lots of flakes of unburnt and mostly just discolored powder grains. (so reloading w/ moon in a hurry is a problem cause moon sticks half way in the chamber due to all the particulate)
Already hit the chambers with a plug guage, and mic'ed the bulelts- all the right size.
I'm thinking that the Lead too soft- so pressure won't spike...???
Tried
Intl calys
Uni Clays
231
all from @ 800 to 950 fps loads.
