I got my PCR out a few weeks back. This PCR was sitting at my FFL for over 6 months. I acquired it in the middle of SSE thinking it was off list. I soon found out it was on list, so it sat around while a ran other SSE pistols until the end of the year.
This is my first CZ75 Compact. So far i have only had a chance to shoot it a few times. It is clear it is going to take some practice for me to adjust to the size and weight of this pistol versus my the full size steel CZ's i usually shoot. I like the feel of it so far, just need more range time. Ill post some targets if i shoot some worth posting. I am going to stick with the stock sights for now. I blacked out the rear and repainted the front sight white to make the sights easier to focus.
I also had the chance to work on my first CZ decocker. I managed to avoid taking apart the sear cage using the CGW slave pin. Getting the sear pin out took some hammering. Reinstalling the FPB lifter arm spring was the most time consuming part of the install. Next time around when i go back in to touch up the polishing i will likely take the sear cage apart for fun. Hopefully this maneuver will not end up kicking me in the face.
The serrated trigger is not bothering me so far, i have heard a few peoples dislike of this trigger. Due to the indentation in the aluminum compact frame i could install Nill grips without the decocking lever hitting the grips while decocoking the pistol. On a full size CZ decocker, Nill grips are no go if you want to retain the function of the decocking lever and not damage the grips.. I have always liked the look of this particular CZ model. I am glad i finely got it out. So far it feels as good as it looks.
Here it is stock.

I installed the CGW SRS Kit w/ T.2 Disco, D/C - Race hammer, Floating trigger pin, Extended firing pin w/ light spring, Compact Nill grips. Ill be using ether a 13 or 15# Hammer spring. I am testing out the 14# recoil spring atm, but i will likely run the stock recoil spring in this pistol.

Did you use nail polish to black out the rear sites?
