    Buying off roster Ruger

    can i purchase an off the roster Ruger by doing the transfer through a gun dealer. I am not related to the seller

      If this a Private Party Transfer (PPT)....Yes. The person selling the Ruger resides in California, has a valid California I.D. then yes....you can do a PPT at the FFL location of your choice, regardless of "Roster" status as long as it is not an "Assault Weapon"....HTH c good

          This! If its shipped to the FFL its not a PPT but a regular transfer and not roster exempt.
