XD45 Compact

To all those XD owners,

I'm planning on acquiring an XD45 Compact. My question is, what is the size in relation to say, a Glock 19? With an XD45 Compact are you able to get a full grip on it or would your pinky finger dangle? I have medium sized hands, by the way.

Pictures of Glock 19 and XD45 side by side would be great, or a picture of someone holding an XD45 would do as well.

By compact I assume you mean the service model which is the 4 inch XD45 and yes its generally about the same size as a G19 give or take in a few areas..

I have large hands and my pinky hangs off the G19 and I've shot an XD40 SC with grip extensions and it still hangs.

Nope, the XD45 compact is a 4" model, with a 3/4" shortened grip. The grip is slightly longer than the Sub-compact.

It really depends on the size of your hands.
