HK warranty

Does anyone know the warranty for HK handguns? Ive been trying to go to their website to see but it keeps saying website not ound or some other error, pretty much i just want to know does it extend to a second hand firearm

Im looking for a Mark 23, as a purchase to celebrate my new promotion at work, but i figured it wouldnt hurt to save a few dollars if i found one used.

any help would be appreciated

worst case scenario ill have to just buy one new

What type of product warranty does HK offer?

All new HK firearms sold in the USA are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty for the original owner. Law Enforcement products are covered by a One Year Limited Warranty. For specific warranty questions, please contact HK at (706) 568-1906

It's an HK, what are you worried about. They are as tough as they come. Both my HKs are used and never an issue.

They've been known to repair used handguns for free as well. The Mark 23 also is not on roster AFAIK.

I live in las vegas, roster not an issue, I know but I'm looking to spend 2 grand on this, so a warranty would be a nice piece of mind

You should be able to find a new one for $1800, especially out of state. Too bad you didn't get one a couple months ago, they had a 200 rebate. Great gun. Big, very accurate, nice SA trigger, very heavy da trigger. Absolutely built like a tank. Congrats on your promotion!

yeah i knew about the rebate, but i didnt have the money then, and i really want this firearm, especially cause im a metal gear solid fan (sorry the lil kid in me from back in the day wants all the guns snake used in the MGS series eventually)

You can order a new one right now brand new from impact guns for $1,651. Worth every penny if you are an HK guy. They have been rumored to stop production several times, and have actually gone a year or two without making them. They make them in batches. There are BE (2014) date code MK23's out there currently. Unless you found a swinging deal on one, I'd just buy it new and call it good.. New ones now also ship with the HK thread protector included & spare barrel orings, but are shipped in the newer style HK plastic box ala USP's. If you want a close approximation of the original soft case that were shipped with the late 90's series guns that included a suppressor storage pouch, light pouch, and mag pouch, buy this one on Amazon.

The Mark 23 is probably one of the most reliable pistols ever made, as long as the original owner took good care of it, it should keep firing off shots without a failure almost in perpetuity. Just keep in mind that its SUPER hard on the barrel finish so it will show heavy wear after only 100 rounds or so but it wont affect performance at all.

I think he means put a bit of grease on the barrel hood. HK guns are nitrocarburized, so even if you see the blue wear off, it's still protected from corrosion.

Btw, it's not specifically mentioned on their website, presumably to CTA, but HK will warranty used guns if you or the former owners haven't done any mods. If modded, they'll replace all the modded parts at your cost then the warranty is back on.

Cockedandlocked, those bags you linked on eBay are pretty good, and appear to be the same ones on the HKwebshop. However, they don't include the suppressor holder, the UTL holder, and most importantly, the included mag pouch doesn't fit mk23 mags. I bought one a while back. Works good for a USP 9 though. The Amazon one is perfect for the mk23.

if thats the case i wouldnt mind buying one used i dont think a lot of people would mod a MK 23, I personally feel a MK 23 shouldnt be modded, but keep in mind this ould be my first high end pistol im purchasing so i may not know what im talking about
