Sig 1911 Nitron finish

how will the finish hold up for EDC? I currently have it in an alien gear holster.

would stainless be better?

Pretty sure it will. That nitron finish is on many of their handguns besides just the 1911 series. Have had an 1911 XO for about 3 years now. No issues with the Nitron finish to date.

I have a P220 Carry that used to be a deputy sheriff's carry piece, and the finish is still in great shape. I'm assuming it was carried often.
