Has anyone had a trigger job done on the Ruger LCR 38 Special? If so, where did you get the spring?

Ruger LCR trigger job?

Based on reports I've read here and on other forums, I'd say don't do it. You're likely to wind up with some failures to fire. At most, just polish the moving parts like this guy did. (Or pull that trigger a gazillion times. Ruger says it's OK to dry fire.)
I have the LCR, LCR-22, and LCR-357. It may interest you to know that the 22 and 357 have heavier triggers (the 22 is off the scale!), plus the 357 trigger breaks much closer to the end of the stroke. When I first got the 357 I was wishing I could put the 38 trigger in there, but I got used to it and like it a lot now.Last edited by LeftHand-Fu; 03-04-2015, 7:31 PM. Reason: Typo...LRC, LCR, what's the diff you say? Would drive me nuts to leave it that way.Formerly TargetMaven

The LCR has about the best trigger you're going to get in a double action only revolver so I wouldn't mess with it."Government is the great fiction, through which everybody endeavors to live at the expense of everybody else." --FREDERIC BASTIAT--
