So if it's old enough, it doesn't have to be on the CA roaster? Do I need anything else beside my handgun card to purchase from Classicfirearms?

I presume if you go to the trouble of getting a C&R License.

Yes. C&Rs are exempt. I thought the Super Bs were NOT C&R and the Model Bs mostly were? Obviously if they are 1946 vintage, the guns with that date would be C&R and roster exempt.

The super b is not c&r. The model B is c&r

J&G sells both, but only the Model B to Californians.

I believe this is correct since SSE went away for semi autos. I got my Super B prior to SSE poofing. I had to jump through a few phone hoops to get J&G to ship to Ca.

The C&R criteria is 50 yrs or older. IIRC, most Bs meet this. Some Super Bs meet this. Both have yr date codes stamped on them. My Super B was 1973 so definitely not C&R.

J&G is unwilling to date check mfg. to ascertain.

IIRC the Model B was primarily made in 9mm Largo, some were 9mm Parabellum.

Both were also made for commercial export in different cals.
