"Good news for me" I received a call today from LAX Ammo that my replacement pistol is in. So only after 7 days of waiting my new pistol is here like they had said it would be, I went down to the range and filled out the DROS application this afternoon and should be picking up that new XD45 next Thursday...Hell Yeah !!!! I'm really happy they took care of me so fast, they earned my business for life and I would recommend LAX Ammo to everybody...

Nope I saw a squib with CCI .22wmr out of a H&R revolver with a 12" barrel lol. Luckily he caught it before a follow up shot.
All NEW ammo is not created equal. Look at that trash Armscor is pushing.

Yea I am going to shoot all of my reman Freedom Munitions. Not even 100% sure about their new at this point.

Another question I have, my first pistol is completely done...what do I need to do legally with it. The range is going to keep the pistol and take some parts, the barrel and grip have the serial numbers and are no good-so I guess the slide and trigger can be salvaged. So is there some information I need to send to the DOJ to get that pistol out of my name so there is no issues for me later...

I would fill this out and send it in just to be on the safe side. Maybe include some photos and a cover letter explaining what all transpired.

Not buying any local made range ammo period. Glad you got lucky and they fixed it for you. For awhile there it looked liked there were trying to weasel there way out of it.

I got an idea save the gun turn it in " buy back" get a gift certificate.
