I just picked up this pistol and haven't got a chance to shoot it yet. If I do not like the trigger pull I'm planning upgrade installing the kit. The magazine disconnect will have to be removed during the process and I was wondering would I need to reinstall it for the pistol to operate properly.

You can remove the two mag disconnect parts and the mousetrap spring with no problems.
If you elect to put those parts back in, you will need to make a short slave pin to hold the disco parts and mousetrap spring in the sear assembly body to reinstall them.
The Apex spring kit is a good upgrade.

Yes.
But be careful when you remove the Apex install pin after driving out the pin that holds in the sear body.
The mousetrap spring at disco parts will go flying out.
Just hold your thumb over the top of the assembly when pulling out the install pin and they will release without flying off.
I think the Apex vids could be a little better.
They kind of gloss over getting the slide stop back in correctly.
Look carefully at how and where it pivots, and where the spring goes, before driving the cross pin out.
