    22 race gun

With the return of 5c/round 22 ammo (yes it's out there if one is a smart consumer) I want to setup a 22 race gun.

Ruger 22/45, add a trijicon RMR, compensator, and upgrade internals.

Are there some smiths that sell something like already all worked out for you, or is the best way to put it all together yourself?

The rugers are super easy to trick out at home

Throw in a volquartsen target trigger and sear, lose the mag disco for a mkii bushing or aftermarket bushing, throw in the slingshot kit if you want

The upper is already drilled and tapped for the 22/45 so just add a rail and red dot or you can remove the rear sight and mount lower, although I am not sure in this requires any milling in the slide

A compensator I feel would be pointless especially with the weight of the red dot on top, these don't really move at the muzzle anyways haha
