    Sig P320

My last SSE pistol I bought in 2014 was a Sig P320 and I finally got around to shooting it the other day... Wow! I've owned several striker fired pistols looking for a trigger that was as good or better than a Glock and about threw in the towel having gone through several different striker fired Springfield and S&W models (never fired a VP9 which I hear is amazing). Before I hear the on slot of disagreement, I realize this is the eye of the beholder as some dislike the Glock trigger (weirdo's ). Thinking the P320 would probably fall into the not as good as a Glock camp, I didn't think much of it until I pulled the trigger. It's very crisp with a nice short reset. I like this gun enough to replace my Glock 19 on my CCW. Sig seriously hit a home run with this pistol!

I'll put the P320 2nd to a PPQ. I've never fired the VP9 either though.

As for the vp9 vs the p320 , I own both and still can't really make up my mind . Out of the box the vp9 was #1 but after a few range trips can't decide . Sigs like to be broken in.

I usually have very low expectations when it comes to factory triggers. Nice to know the 320 is, at least, decent. Really wish I had picked up a 320 before SSE ended. Sad face.

Well, honestly vp9 and P320 is two different trigger.

P320 is DAO, But if you compare P320's DAO, its better than HK LEM or light LEM by 10000000 blocks imo.

VP9 however has a much similar trigger with Glock. But then PPQ 4" has better trigger than VP9 !!

If I am carry one, I would carry P320 because of that trigger!! and I will NOT carry PPQ because its super crispy trigger pull and short reset often makes the gun ND!!!
          Stuff I got for sale:
+++ Dan Wesson DWX, Glock 47 MOS, Walther PPK Stainless Steel, Canik Rival Dark Side, Canik Mete SF, FN 509 LS EDGE OR, Springfield SA35 Hi Power, HK VP Match OR, Beretta 92XI SAO, Beretta APX A1 and more

Triggers don't make guns ND....I'm jus' sayin'...

I have the poly-striker trifecta, and though I love them all, PPQ>VP9>P320.

I'm with you. I really believe Sig struck gold with this one. Meaningful modularity and a great trigger. One thing I did notice is that I had a lot of outliers with the first round of each magazine when I first shot it. 200 rounds later I'm really impressed with its accuracy.

It's really a shame that SSE has ended and made this pistol so hard to get.

Have never had a ND with any of my 6 PPQ's....light triggers do not make guns ND

The P320 is a fantastic gun.

                    Nothing further to add!

I do like the VP9 trigger also, but the modularity of the Sig? 9, 40, 357 Sig, 45 with additional frame.

40 caliber X-kits looks to be now available, but 3rd party like Audiophil2 is needed for those at the moment.

Wonder if they will need to make the 45 grip chunkier than the 9/40/357 medium. I am still waiting for the small frame to try out.

I agree that the trigger doesn't make the gun, but they're a huge selling point.

They're not liberals, they're leftists. Please don't use the former for the latter. Liberals are Locke, Jefferson, Burke, Hayek. Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.
