point shooting video

I've actually seen a guy compete without optics on his open gun, its a bit disconcerting as he's still fairly quick and accurate..
Im not familiar with Middlebrooks methodology on shooting, but in terms of "point shooting", I use what I need to get the shot off faster.. If the distances are within my 'comfort zone', then I'll use a less than perfect sight picture.. I'll index off the frame, my hands or simply extend my arms and shoot.. at the same time, if i need my sights, they're available..
i recently took a defnesive pistol class that applied some contact distnace/point shooting skills.. its was very very eye opening..Aloha snackbar!Comment

yeah that guy is a pretty good shot.
I will say point shooting is something I think everyone should practice. In the last video the guy explains why point shooting is good. Considering most hand gun fights are defensive fights point shooting is all about speed.
Ive never tryed point shooitng more than 25 yards though.07 FFL Woodland, CA
