SP-01 - Cajun Gun Works Pro Package

    UPDATE...post CGW package posted below.

Well...I came across some extra cash and I am finally sending off my SP-01 to David at Cajun Guns works for the Pro Package.

This package includes everything that can be done to the inside of an SP-01 by them, so I have very high expectations for this trigger.

My wish is to get as close to a 1911 style SA trigger pull and butter smooth DA.

I'll post updates here as well as pics and videos of the trigger pull after the gun gets back. Here she is before she gets sent in and a link to CGW website...

Definitely interested to see the before and after. Make a video in the same way with the trigger once you get it back for side-by-side comparison.

I've got David's parts in my SP-01 and couldn't be happier! I did the work myself, an I think the trigger is every bit as good as my Kimber Eclipse Target trigger.
      You'll be very happy...

I just hit the range yesterday with my bone stock 75B SA. My buddy brought his SP-01 that was worked over by CZ Custom and his 75B that had the package done by CGW. All I can say is that of the 2, the 75B was, IMO, the better gun!

Mine is going off next month, just putting together the scratch as I also want new sights!

I'm sure you will like it. The only issue he had was that the trigger had a couple of instances where the reset did not correctly happen. David told him to lube the trigger area and it worked beautifully after that.

          Keep us posted!

                Good decision OP!

I had mine upgraded with CGW parts with A LOT of help from CAGLS (a member here) and it is sweet. If you care to know what was done on mine, here's a link to a thread I started:

I sent my SP-01 off Cajun a few months back and the trigger is amazing. I also purchased an SP-01 Tactical from CZ custom and had them do their trigger job. I think the Cajun gun work is better.

When I shoot or dry fire the gun, I can feel the drop of the hammer more than on the Cajun. It's almost like the hammer on the CZ custom drops harder maybe different hammer springs.

You won't regret it send it to Cajun. Make sure you follow his instructions for shipping. I moving to Utah and my next purchase will be an CZ Custom Shadow. I might get one from Cajun.

Can i ask how many rounds have gone through your Sp-01 in the video? I'm picking mine up in a week. I was told that the trigger action should smooth out after the break in period (not more than 1k round). If that's how it is already broken in then i'll just send mine to CGW and don't bother waiting to break it in.

Nice OP. I have 2 CGW Pro package CZ now and they where totally worth it. I have installed the Pro package parts in 4 other CZ my self and while they are nice they are not quite as good as CGW worked over CZ's.

                          Probably around 100.

I'm sure the trigger pull will smooth out after a lot of rounds, but the Pro Package from CGW will do a lot more than just smoothing out the trigger pull.

I'd suggest that you call David and ask him to explain what is included. He is very friendly and willing to discuss his work at length with you.

Any chance we can get a video similar to mine so we can see the difference?
