      Don't want to bump this thread but one more quick question before I pull the trigger. Can has cerakoting the slide and frame for any of you guys cause any failures before? I am looking to go with something like this.

          New company in Camarillo (Ventura County) doing cerakote. precision Firearms Coatings. 100% Vet owned and operated. No website yet, but they are on FB.

            I had my slide done in OD green. No problem what so ever. Like another member posted - very thin coating. I paint with Duracoat and it is a lot thicker. Will use Cerakote going forward. Multi-color is a PITA though.
            - 80% AR Fan
            - 300BLK all the way

              I just did a complete AR today in coyote tan. everything except for the barrel and bcg.
              I'll be doing my m&p next week. i'll post some pics when its done.

                Does anyone know of a shop in the Sacramento area that does this? I have several Glocks I would like to get done. Thanks!

                  Check this guy out - does a great job using the heat cured process, turn around is three hours, and price can't be beat. He has done two of my pistols and I will probably take some more.
