    Gun show ammo prices

My last gun show in Utah before I move. I received a card in the mail for $1 off admission. On the card are ammo specials: 1k 9mm for $185, 1k 40s&w for $195 and 1k 45acp for $270. 1k 7.62mm for $215. Says they'll have green tip 5.56, but no price. Hopefully this is new ammo.

It's been my experience that guns at these shows are more than my LGS, but ammo and trinkets are decent.

In any gun show purchase, you HAVE to include costs of fuel to the show, parking, admittance, sales tax etc. I have seldom seen gun show purchases work out to be cheaper than on line. Go for the beef jerky selection, but not the ammo prices.

Last time I went I got new 115 gr 9mm, $200 for 1k. That's $10 for 50 rounds. Entrance fee here is under 10 and free parking. I'll check out the jersey too!

                This.

OP said he's in Utah so I'm sure it's 10x better.

I've been to some NV and TX gun shows, and they were spectacular (and cheaper all around) compared to CA gun shows.

I went to the Del Mar show last year. The selection was very good, the prices were still a little high. However, if you are looking for something specific, it might be worth your time.
