Service handguns, what comes to mind?

I'm collecting modern/recent service handguns just cause. But mostly for a collection with variety and that I know most of these service pistols can take a beating and last a lifetime.

I have an M9A1 and P226 MK25 so far, and I'm guessing the next step is toward Glock, narrowed down to the 19 or 17, which I am not sure is more widely used.

What other handguns come to mind, as a service pistol?

9mm Luger as a preference, but I am open to more calibers.

(Excluding USP obviously because it has service in it's name haha.) Whoops, my error. JDay corrected me, it's Universal Self-Loading Pistol.
    (Also excluding the 1911 platform.)

I did some searching and couldn't find a definite list in terms of popularity, use, and production numbers. So it doesn't matter which country etc.

CZ maybe? Maybe one the Chinese use? PPQ?

    Updated List :
    1. CZ75
    2. M11

The CZ 75B and other CZ's handguns are in common use by several militaries. The CZ P01 got NATO approved not sure but it may be in military use somewhere.

Sig M11 is another good one. Or it's more readily available version, the P229 which is used by A LOT of federal agencies.

Sig p239, which has for the most part replaced the m11 as a concealable pistol.

                1. Browning Hi-Power
                2. Non-railed Beretta M9
                3. SiG Sauer P228, good luck finding one, or P229 or M11 (not a fan of the logo on top of the slide)
                4. Glock 17 (More widely used in militaries of other countries)
                5. CZ 75
                6. Springfield Armory XD9 (Croatian, Indonesian, Thai, etc. service pistol)
                7. FN Five-seveN (not a 9mm, but it is a service pistol that scares gun grabbers by the name alone)

Last I heard none of the ChiCom 9mm export pistols have made it to the U.S. for commercial sales. I don't think anybody is using the PPQ (though the Iraqi Army is using the P99) as a service pistol at this time.

If your also talking about police service arms, a lot of departments used SW 5900 series pistols in the past

No agency uses a ppq at this time

Glock 17 and Glock 19 are both used

The third gen smith and Wesson autos were used alot, and can be picked up for decent prices if you look around.

I've got no issues with my current issued Glock 23, but I have to admit the super short and light sear reset on our 6906's was pretty damn sweet.
Buying a safe and sane firework is like paying a hooker for a hug. I do not see the appeal in it.

I found it interesting that Austria doesn't use a Glock.
Buy made in USA whenever possible.
