    Clarification

As a resident of California, once completing the DROS and waiting the 10 days to pick the gun, there is nothing else that has to be done except for picking up the firearm correct? The process stops there and no need of registration of any kind?

Also, 30 days from the pick up time? or DROS completion will I be able to purchase my next handgun?

Also a bit off topic, long guns have no restriction as to how many I can buy at one time and during any period of time?

DROS info is sent to CA-DOJ, so there is no additional registration.

30 days from date and time of DROS submission - you should get a copy of the DROS data.

As you say, no limits on long gun purchases other than your wallet and, if any, the opinions of your Significant Other.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

dros process registers the pistol. nothing else needs to be done on that front. as for the 30days. look at the top left corner of your dros copy. there are 3 dates. 1 date is date of dros. 2nd date is date of earliest pick up. 3rd date is the date that dros lapses and you have to redros if you didn't pick up by then. that 3rd dates is also the date and time that your 30 days is up and you can get another after that stated date and time.
