    A WHEEL FOR A SLIDE

With the love of revolvers for looks, feel and history etc ,I think
I would be ready to trade in the semi auto stricker for a trigger
    operator.
Exploring the market and desire of revolver owners that might just
be thinking the opposite.Seems a lot more autos are offered for sale than
revolvers so not sure a swap would be the way to go.
    Any thoughts from you ?
Soon there will be a post in Market place with details

I have traded a few guns in the past here on Calguns, they worked flawlessly.

In general, I think it is harder to get a trade done because you are working a more complex problem, 2 variables.

Good point. Might just sell out right and look for and buy a revolver.

Less chance for an error with that approach. A long time before the internet, I traded a Model 19 S&W for a Beretta 92FS. Now the Model 19 had been ridden hard and put out wet (by me) and the Beretta was new, but...

Don't trade... Just buy more and more... It's easier that way.

What I would add is get a good quality revolver. Colt, S&W or Ruger. The others would be a regret but that is JMHO

Agree there. I already have one S&W and a Ruger, one or the other will be
                    next, just different models.
