    Randall 1911

Hello all. I'm new here. I was referred to this site. I'm in the market for a randall 1911. My father in law was Brigader General Randall's driver.General Randall started manufacturing these guns in 1984 in southern Ca. Thanks!

I have one, they don't come up for sale very often in CA. Nice pistol.

There is a good number of them on Gunbroker.com. None in CA.

If you dad is a NON California resident that would be your solution.

Yeah, I have found several out of state. But it is not california compliant. Therefore, no one will complete the transfer. Thank you all who responded.

                  ^^^ Good one.

The only place that has suckier laws is NJ. Over there possesion of a sling shot is a felony.

Randalls were an early effort to produce an all stainless 1911 type pistol---long out of production (so no parts support). Personally, I found them to vary a great deal in QC---some worked, others not so much.
I know you have a connection to Randall because of your dad, but if I wanted a stainless 1911 pistol to shoot, I would look for a more current maker…
Oh, and during the time they were actually made here in Kalifornia, they WERE for sale here...
