All of the XD's are CA approved, except for the XD(m)s. Just check out Springfield web site.

That's incorrect the ones with a thumb safety are not approved.

              Not for a long time.
The XDm's LCI does not meet the requirements for a CA approved LCI.

So once a gun's registry expires can it be resubmitted by the manufacturer without the LCI and mag disconnect requirement? Or is it necessary to renew before it expires in order to keep it on the list?

Bingo! Have to renew it to keep it on the list.

Wont happen unless they change the requirements.

The only one I want isn't on the list, XD-45 Bi-tone service.

Which of the 4" 9mm XD'ss do you like most?

I am going shooting this weekend to try the 9201.

Given that I am looking for a 9mm what others might you suggest?

                            Other manufactures suggestions welcome.

                            Thx
