    THANK YOU BUMPING AN ADD

You list a gun for sale and after 24 hrs you want to bump it to page 1. Is there a way to bump the thread without creating a reply under your add that says bump. You bump it for 10 days and you have a whole string of bumps under your add. Thank you to every one that replied. It is people like you that makes CALGUNS great

Bump with a new reply, then delete yesterday’s.

Do you want to bump an "ad" or "add" a bump?

Each time you bump it, lower the price and say it is still available. Good manners.

I would give a little more information each time you bump it, or add a photo.

I think lots of times things don't sell right away, because the potential buyers don't see the value that you're seeing and why you have a high asking price.

use those bumps to give more information.

but I've seen them used for many secondary reasons, including funny limericks.

I do that if there isn't activity. I'll let's the price by X dollars every day until it sells. I've had very good luck with this.

Or you post a reasonable price and get a lot of lowballers and funny stuff.

If the price was good, people will bump it for you. If it's bad, no one will. It's a common courtesy. But don't bump it if it even hasn't attracted a fly. That just means your price needs some adjusting.
