Your best bet is a Springfield 1911 9mm loaded. I just picked mine up and sent it straight to their custom shop. And it's on roster til the end of the year. And I believe they're falling off roster because Springfield is putting out new models. (Please correct me if I'm wrong) -

Word is that Springfield has dropped these models (9mm Loaded PX9130L or 9mm Loaded Target PI9134L) from their lineup for 2015 and they do indeed seem to be unavailable online or in most stores. One internet poster claims to have called Springfield and been told that they will continue producing these models for California only. Time will tell who is correct, but I snapped up a Target when I found one at my LGS for an inflated but apparently prevailing price. It's still awaiting sentencing, but I'm already planning to have the SACS do some bad, bad things to it once I get a chance to run it in a bit.Your best bet is a Springfield 1911 9mm loaded. If you reload, you can make some really nice, mild loads that you could shoot all day long.

My wife and I both now shoot the SA 9mm 1911 Loaded. Big step up from our M&Ps. Triggers are quite variable and may need work on a newly purchased model. Ours are 3bl/10oz/smooth, 5lb/10oz/creep/gritty. We have two others that are ok triggers in the 5-6 lb range. My wife lucked out with the really good trigger.Comment

Great guns. I'm selling one in the marketplace but have two of my own already. Decided I didn't need a 3rd one and wanted something else.Comment
