Moving to CA with a Glock Gen4

I am originally from California, but I live in Alabama and just recently bought a Glock 19 Gen4. I will be moving back to California in a few months. I have seen some things on the internet that are making me think this might be a problem. If someone could help clear up the laws regarding the Gen4 that would help me out greatly

I would buy a few before coming back and sell them

You shouldn't have a problem, OP. Just make sure you don't bring hi cap mags, unless they are blocked to 10 rds.

No problem at all. Welcome back! If you want another one, or any gun not on the roster, buy it before you move back, you can bring in your guns.

In fact, bring in some vp9s, some ppqs, 938s, etc, etc.

Yep you're fine. If anything you should buy more non-roster guns to bring in.

A couple of Canik TP9 SA from J&G sales would be nice.

I'll also be moving to CA and just ordered six guns (I'll have nine total).

Wondering if I should pick up a Sig P320SC as my last gun before I pack up and move...

Am I too late to put my order in?

Since you cannot buy it once you're a California resident, yes. If you want it, you should buy it now.

Before you come back go on a buying frenzy. As long as the mags are ten rounds or less and aren't on the banned by name list(tech 9, uzi pistol etc.) You will be good.

While this encouragement is a regular feature in response to someone moving here, it's important to remember that more than 5 sales [ETA annually] (any number of guns per sales event) puts the seller at risk of running afoul of 'dealing without a license'.

Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything.
