I just ordered a new synthetic Marauder in .22 for my first PCP air rifle. I also got a smoking deal on a Nuvair mch/6 compact HP compressor from a guy at work. Can I fill the rifle directly from the compressor or will I need to invest in a tank?

Not familiar with compressors, but if you had the fittings and were monitoring the fill pressure I don't see why not. But I would have a paintball tank or steel scuba/scba tank to fill when you're not at home. Marauder only gets 20-30 shots per fill.

I just ordered a Shoebox to feed my disco double and my stock disco, I'm getting too old and puny for the hand pump.

I have a scuba tank I used for paintball, I also have some smaller 45 and 60cc tanks for the gun. The guy at AGOA said its more of a hassle to convert.
what items do you guys have to fill pcp tanks?

I ended up buying a floor pump for my FX bobcat I just ordered.

I am new to PCP rifles so I contacted an expert to ask questions, lots of questions. From what I know(which isn't much) a scuba tank is only good for 3000psi, that isn't enough volume/pressure to fill a 3000psi rifle. I'm not sure of your rifles requirements though. A Disco has a fill pressure of 2000psi so a scuba tank would fill it no problem and all you would need is the adapter from the tank to the rifle. I contacted Joe Brancato and he answered all my questions. Take a look at his website, I'm sure he has what you need.

Most PCP guys will skip the regular 3000 psi tanks and go straight to the 4,500 psi carbon fiber tanks.

that shoebox thing is neat but almost a grand! then you need a small tank another 400-800$!

Ill have to wait on that after 2200$ for a new FX bobcat and pump.

I have a 12 gal compressor and that shoebox would be awesome.
