    Big Cat 1200

Bought my Big Cat about 3 years ago, it cost more than the Mosin I bought at the same time at Big5.
Bought it for gopher control. It does a great job. Came with a 3x9x40 scope.
After running about 5 to 7 hundred pellets through it to break it in. It likes the Beeman coated HP and Cometa Exact Heavy 10.4 grain.

Nice! Do you ever shoot for accuracy?

Cool man, I cannot stress how much airguns accuracy is pellet dependent and particular.

Every time, ear shot on a gopher just barely sticking its head out of his hole at 33feet off hand. One shot one kill. Pesky pigeon on a telephone pole 45 yards, same results.

          ^^This.
My Big Cat came with crappy Gamo pettets. After reading about the Artillery Hold for springer's, trying a lot of different pellets and putting at least 500 pellets through it it is now very accurate. I have hit beetles at 35 yards, those icky green ones that like grape plants. Took awhile before I found the right pellets for my particular springer, Beeman coated HP's and Cometa Exact
          Heavy 10.34 grain.

The GAMO Big Cat .177 was my first break-barrel air-rifle and I must say, it got the job done! Mine in-particular was partial to the Crosman Premier Hollowpoints, and absolutely hated the alloy pellets. After installing the GAMO dovetail rail base, a Leapers Picatinny Compensator Mount, and a 4x32 scope with an offset 1-piece ring base, I was set.
I thought about installing a drop-in a gas-piston system, but I figured it'd be more advantageous for me to just buy an air-rifle with one already. So I ended up with a Crosman/Benjamin NP Trail in .22 -- installed the same spec optics as well. Don't need anything fancy to tickle my fancy

I bought one of these a few years back and it has remained the best pellet gun for the money that I have ever bought. deadly accurate with crosman premier hollowpoints.

Have you guys tried pellet washing and lubing?

It helps eliminate dust that fouls the barrels and the go longer between cleaning.

Also, some think it makes pellets more accurate.

Some even go to extremes and weigh pellets and discard all that are out of median/mean, and keep only pellets that are aggregated.
