Well, just received my Averngert Bullpup this morning, and I'm loving it. I put a small scope on it, bipod, and a DFL adapter and Ronin moderator on it, charged it up and then went out to the back yard and started plinking. Took me a few rounds to get the scope set up, but after that, the 20 yard grouping is a bit smaller than a 1/4" (basically they all touch). Need to take it out now and see how accurate it is at some distances that will allow me to actually measure the spread properly. All I can say, this isn't my old back yard daisy 10 pump bb gun
. I wish I would have done this sooner.
Some things I like: Trigger is actually pretty good for a bull pup, it is accurate, and pretty lightweight for it's size. I need to figure out something else for the fill up though as currently I need to remove the moderator and adapter to get the airline on due to the airline filter. I might just look for an airline extension to solve that issue. Also wish the check weld was lower, as it definitely puts the scope up high.
I also set up my chronograph and decibel meter to see how it's preforming. I was pleasantly surprised at both the speed and the sound at 1m to the side of the muzzle. It's fast, and sending the 18gr pellets down range at just over 940fps. I haven't played around with the settings yet, and so this is factory settings. Sound with the moderator was in the 72-74 dB range, and was noticeably quieter to my ears than the impact that the pellets where making into the insulation foam backstop I made.
