David Slade does a very good job, but none of this stuff is rocket science. Check out the different forums, watch a few YouTube videos, make a spring compressor, and you?re on your way. Spring guns are pretty basic mechanisms that really only require a knowledge of how to use mostly basic tools.

        Got the rifle back.
        Here's a few pictures.
I was thinking about getting some copper pellets to use on squirrels. Thoughts?

Bob: JSB Exact Diabolo, and JSB Exact Jumbo Monster Pellets will be the most accurate in your gun. That is a cool looking little optic!

If you want to shoot targets then H&N Match Wadcutter Pellets are the hot tip. I've been shooting Ground Squirrels in my Front Yard with my H35E using the .177 JSB Diabolo's (8.4 gr.)and they work well on head shots. I have not had any luck with the Copper Pellets because they aren't sized right for my guns and accuracy is terrible. Your gun should be a one hole gun at 10M with the JSB"S.

Does your scope mount have a pin that fits into one of the holes on the receiver of the gun to limit mount set back? Cuz this gun will move a scope mount around and you can't tighten the clamp screws tight enough to prevent it .

It has to have the stop pin !

My R1 is set up almost exactly like yours. Mine's a .22 and has got a Leupold 1-4 Shotgun Scope mounted and the stock is not Laminated like yours is.

            Randy,

Yes, it has a stop mounted behind the scope.

The scope is a Beeman Blue Ribbon SS2L 3x21.
