Is the trigger adjustable?
It may be too short or loose. Clock wise the adjustment screw. It is a RWS knockoff, if the trigger adjustment screw is backed out too far the sear won't catch.
I had the Ruger 10+ years ago, but I forget what trigger pack was shoved in theresigpic
