Any decent airgun scopes in the $20-$30 range?
I hear regular firearm scopes will be demolished by the recoil profile of a springer.

Check your local Walmart or Big5. They may have some airgun scopes.
Supposedly regular scopes only are built to take a firearm's rearward recoil and not the forward snap of the spring piston.

Finding a scope that will hold Zero for a Springer or Gas piston rifle is a challenge. I went through many cheaper scopes, wasted time mounting, zeroing, and money. The scope I did find that worked great on my break barrel Gas Piston is the UTG Swat. More money, but if you break three cheap scopes the cost would be of the UTG.
Now im mostly PCP so no recoil to deal with I use only Hawke scopes. I have one Spring in my collection, a Beeman HW97K in Blue. Low powered not too much recoil. I have a Hawke Airmax mounted on it.Comment

Problem solved. Found my Dad's old Bushnell...it even has a mount.
