I fill mine in my garage, I think you can get them filled at dive shops, some people have told me fire stations will fill tanks...

Bought a Shoebox booster/compressor. Would not be without one now. Air anytime, not dependent on a store and open hours. Do it, it's great!

I have a 60min 4500psi SCBA tank for filling my Marauder .25. Have only filled the tank one time at a local Dive shop. Depending on the shop that fills a tank, you may not get your tank filled to its rated capacity. The air going into the tank heats up from being compressed into the small space and will then drop pressure some as it cools down. If I take my tank in, have them fill then leave it with them overnight, the shop will top off my tank the next morning after it has cooled down. It's only a couple hundred psi so it's not really a big deal.

Scuba shops or paintball shops/fields will be your best bet.

Thanks for the tip, refilling it for the second time after a while!

I guess it depends where you are. I just got a tank last night and went by a scuba shop in San Mateo and was told they will not fill my tank unless I had a VIP and the tank hydro-static tested/certified.
The person working there told me a work around is to get a scuba tank, get it certified and they would fill it.

                Fill it to what pressure?
Many dive shops will not fill over 3K, most PCP's now go to 3.3K and up. So one would need to know in order to fill to max for your rifle. If you only fill to 3K and your rifle fills to 3K, you will get very minimal fill as it will equal out after maybe a couple of top offs.
Carbon fiber is better, certified to greater pressure. You will still need to recertify every 5 years in order for the shops to fill. Without the certs, it ain't happening.
A compressor and booster pump will work better, be less hassle, very convenient, but they're not cheap.

Even Scuba tanks have to be regularly hydro tested, and if they don’t have proof of recent inspection - most dive shops will not fill them.

If you are going to get into PCP, you need your own HP pump.

Mac1 will fill your tank for $5, if you’re in the Signal Hill area

I have HP SCUBA tanks and it is a PITA to get a 3500psi fills. Most fill stations fill to 3000psi and then they hit a booster for the last 500psi which really warms the tank, so it cools to about 3000-3100 if you are lucky. Very few LDS have 300cuft cascades that are rated at 4000-4500psi and the compressors to fill them. Every Scuba tank has to be VIP'ed every 12 months and Hydro'ed every 5 years. That is general but I have had LDS that wanted to crack my tank even though it had a current VIP and only had a month since Hydro, I walked out. My buddies boat has a compressor and we fill to 4000, it cools to 3500 in the water.
