Converting break barrel airgun to BugAssault for $3?

I have a sort of expensive PCP rifle which I do not want to modify.

Anybody have a suggestion for a cheap air rifle to do this mod with?
Looks like it extends the range of fly killing by 5 times the distance or so.
Video kills spider at 4 feet, so probably a fly at say 10 feet (I'm guessing).
A Bug Assault gun maybe flies at 2 feet.
He is using a break barrel pellet gun.
Any suggestions for a good cheap break barrel to try this with?

    SAVE10ACE

This is a 10% off code for Pyramidair.com today (entire order). Anything over $150 is free ship I think.

Why don't you just get a Bug-A-Salt? If you wanna do the break barrel thing get a cheap China rifle specifically a B1.

My choice was this which is over priced for my purpose at $94 but a solid gun for many reasons.

        Light weight: 5 pounds
Very light cocking force: 16.5 pounds
Grip: Vertical pistol grip which is perfect for offhand shooting as opposed to prone.
        Sights: Very good click sights.
Decent velocity: 500 fps which is great for a little target gun.
Accurate: Reviewed by BB as being excellent accuracy.
Quiet: One of the most silent spring air BB guns (Pyramid Air Loudness # 2).
Inexpensive: $95. (using the coupon above, $85).

        Negatives:

Tricky to mount scope to: (BB Peltier blog opinion).

Color: distinct color because all contestants must use this gun for Youth Air Rifle matches, judges can spot an illegal gun easily.

Like all spring airs spring jangle shock and noise can be reduced using "Tune in a Tube" spring lube.
But this one is more pleasant to shoot "The shot is just solid, fast and pleasant — the way we expect spring rifles to be, although very few ever are."

Special YAR pellets are made for this gun, only available to tournament contestants. Pellets will also be marketed soon to general public, but not yet.

The Bug A Salt...40 bucks. Meant to shoot salt at fraction of the cost.

Yeah, but bug assault has a limited range. The video seems to show the modified air gun at more than three times the Bug A Salt range.

He don't look like he's more then 3 feet from that piece of paper and less than 5 from that dinky spider. It's grains of salt more power isn't gonna keep the salt from spreading any less if anything it would probably have the opposite effect. The time it takes you to load that pellet gun a BUG a Salt would have cleared the whole room of all insects, 80 shots per fill.
To get more range maybe using toilet paper pouring salt into it and balling it up. Then load it like a pellet.
