Recommend me a scope

Picked up a new to me Airforce Condor air rifle in .22. I have been looking at .22 rimfire scopes because of parallax being adjusted to a closer range and with no recoil to deal with from a spring just wondering if there are air rifle specific scopes that will do well. Looking for something up to 10 or 12x possibly. Thanks for the input.

Check out a brand called Hawke. They make air rifle specific scopes. And don't dismiss the recoil that spring causes - air rifle scopes usually have to be tougher than rim fire specific rifle scopes.

ill take a look at them. The Airfare is a PCP rifle so no recoil. I have had a springer in the past that was hell on air rifle scopes but that was 20 years ago.

Check out Nikon's PROSTAFF 3-9 Target EFR. Parallax adjustment from 8 yards to infinity. Great scope and great price.

As others have mentioned, since it's a PCP and not spring, you have much more options.

If you are going to spend money for a good scope, look for the ones with no questions asked lifetime warranty. Instead of 2 cheap scopes buy 1 good one that can be mounted on both the air rifle and your 22 rifle via quick release ring mounts.

For the cost of quality repeatable QD mounts you will pay more then a $200 scope. So much easier to buy what you want, mount it and leave it alone. I occasionally swap out scopes on AR's and the Larue'a 1 piece 1 inch mounts I use run $210. In my opinion they are the gold standard because of their repeatability. I don't usually swap scopes on my 22LR's or air rifles. I do concur with buying a scope that has a solid warranty in case there is a problem.

I like UTG, got them on all my PCP's, that's 5 PCP's And 3 powder burners, fair price and good scope, check them out at pyramyd air, don't forget Dovetail Rings or Dove tail to Picatinny rail adapter, and I think Airforce recommends tall rings, if you get a rail adapter medium rings.......

The issue with this level of fixed magnification is you will not be shooting at extended ranges. Unless you are always shooting from a supported position, it would be very frustrating trying to hold this steady.
Much lower starting magnification would be more beneficial and allow greater ease to pick up close range small targets.

For a cheaper scope I would recommend a Leapers UTG, they are sturdy and have turret locks. I have found the swat model to be very applicable on some of my high powered PCP guns. I'm a rep for Hawke and will say the only model I prefer is the Frontier,it's the higher end and has excellent glass for the money. The etched glass scopes are usually always of better quality and seem to take abuse better. I'm a bit rough on gear and will say the UTG is pretty indestructible!
