Who else here got the d34s from amazon for ~160ish shipped?

How are you guys enjoying yours? I am loving mine.

I lapped out the breech a little bit because pellets were hard to seat before, now its easy to seat pellets. I never mounted the crappy scope, the fiber optic irons on it are SUPER easy to pick up.

I can hit cans with irons out beyond 50 yards. I was blasting a co2 cartridge repeatedly with irons today at 25 yds.

It shoots the cheap crosman premeir hollowpoints well.. also shoots superdomes and meisterkugelns REALLY well.

I am probably going to use the crappy scope on my qb78.

Thx, how about some detailed info on how much lapping is recommended (strokes/revolutions etc) and what compound and what 'carrier'(cloth, q-tip, cleaning patch?)?

I used 600 grit valve lapping compound, and a brass slotted screw chucked in a drill, with the head used for lapping. This is the same method I use to recrown rifles. I lapped it for about 30 seconds with a drill on high speed then cleaned it well to get all the lapping compound off. a q tip in a drill would probably work too but I really like the brass screw. I used a screw that was just big enough to not fit into the bore.

I got one. I couldn't get the included scope to zero. Might give it another try. My stock had a little ding. I wonder if it was a return?

My stock had several major dings on it.. Try it with irons that included scope is a total piece of junk, but the fiber optic irons are amazing. Or you could easily sell it for over $200....

The 34 is notorious for barrel droop and need a special adapter in most cases.

Got one! For the price real nice but preference wise not a Beeman rifle nice. Yes, not gonna use the cheesy scope - the Tru-glo work very well!
